Instructions for importing the generated file

How to upload a KMZ file to DJI Fly on iOS:

  1. Plan your flight: Create your flight plan on the DronPlan.com website.
  2. Download the KMZ file: On the website, click the "Generate KMZ" button and download the generated file (e.g., DronPlan_yyyymmddHHMMss.kmz).
  3. Open the Files app: Open the "Files" app on your iPhone.
  4. Go to the Downloads folder: In the Files app, tap "Browse" and select "Downloads."
  5. Copy the KMZ file: Press and hold on the downloaded file and select "Copy."
  6. Find the DJI Fly folder: Navigate back to "Browse" → "On My iPhone" → "DJI Fly" → "wayline_mission."
  7. Paste the file into the folder: Open any folder with a random name, press and hold in a blank space, and select "Paste."
  8. Rename the file: Press and hold on the original file, choose "Rename," and copy its name.
  9. Delete the old file and rename the new one: Delete the original KMZ file, then rename the new file with the copied name.

After importing, please check the settings of the entire mission. The use of my tool is at your own risk. I do not take any responsibility for any damages caused.

Instructions for Android

How to upload a KMZ file to DJI Fly on Android:

  1. Plan your flight: Create your flight plan on the DronPlan.com website.
  2. Download the KMZ file: On the website, click the "Generate KMZ" button and download the generated file (e.g., DronPlan_yyyymmddHHMMss.kmz).
  3. Connect your phone or DJI RC2 remote controller to a PC: For DJI RC, save the file on an SD card, insert it into the controller, and press "EXPLORE" when a notification appears.
  4. Copy the generated file: Copy the generated file (DronPlan_yyyymmddHHMMss.kmz).
  5. Navigate to the DJI Fly folder: Go to "Internal Shared Storage" → "Android" → "data" → "dji.go.v5" → "files" → "waypoints."
  6. Paste the file into a folder: Open any folder with a random name and paste the generated file.
  7. Copy the name from the original file: Copy the name from the original file.
  8. Delete the original KMZ file: Rename the new file using the copied name from the previous step.
